Microcastle / Weird Era Cont.

DEERHUNTER – MICROCASTLE / WEIRD ERA CONT.
After their wildly popular “Cryptograms” made them the critics’ darlings of last year, Deerhunter is back with even more shoegazey delights for 2008. Probably their finest work to date, “Microcastle” also includes a bonus disc, “Weird Era Cont.,” which is basically a full-length album in its own right.

Check out my favorite track, "Nothing Ever Happened," here:

Double Night Time

MORGAN GEIST – DOUBLE NIGHT TIME
“Double Night Time” is the new solo album from Environ Records founder Morgan Geist. Environ is home to Metro Area and Kelley Polar, who contributes vocals on about half of the tracks. Vocals on the remaining tracks come from Jeremy Greenspan of Junior Boys.
